Lo iban a sacrificar por feo

Un perro de 10 meses de edad llamado Picasso está superando un período muy triste en su vida, gracias a un grupo de rescate de Oregon, Estados Unidos.

Picasso, una mezcla de pitbull con terrier, nació con una deformidad facial que hace que parezca que su hocico está derecho mientras su mandíbula se tuerce hacia la izquierda.

El cachorro es saludable, según Liesl Wilhardt, director ejecutivo de Luvable Dog Rescue, situado a las afueras de Eugene. "Puede comer de lado", le dijo al sitio Huffington Post.

💜Took the boys to see Dr Kimball at Edgewood Animal Hospital today!💜Dr Kimball had the same conclusion about Picasso as Dr Williams at Four Corners Vet Clinic- Picasso is healthy and not suffering from his birth defect. However, he does have a canine tooth digging into his lower gum due to the misalignment of his jaw that probably does hurt and should come out.😟I'll post some close up photos, because it's really interesting and weird looking!💜when he's under anesthesia the doctor will take some X-rays of his muzzle and jaw to be sure everything is ok in there!!!💜We received an estimate of $800-$1000 for Picasso's surgery. Picasso era parte de una camada de cinco cachorros nacidos en Porterville, California. El criador no pudo vender a Picasso y Pablo, y ambos fueron llevados al Refugio de Animales de Porterville.

Estaban cerca de ser sacrificados antes de que Wilhardt se enterara de ellos. Afortunadamente, la mayor parte de su deformidad es sólo estética.
