Amy Schumer respondió a los que critican su cuerpo para ser la actriz de Barbie: "Muestran que algo anda mal en nuestra cultura"

La humorista estadounidense Amy Schumer será la encargada de dar vida en el cine a la célebre muñeca Barbie, en una nueva película para toda la familia que comenzará a filmarse a comienzos del año próximo.

De acuerdo con las primeras informaciones que trascendieron sobre la cinta, tratará sobre una mujer que vive en Barbieland y que será expulsada de ese mundo por no ser lo suficientemente perfecta, por su personalidad excéntrica y por no ajustarse a los parámetros de la sociedad en la que vive.

A poco de conocerse su designación para el papel principal, Schumer -una declarada feminista- salió a responder a los "trolls" que la criticaron en internet.

La actriz publicó en Instagram una fotografía suya en traje de baño acompañada de un mensaje de agradecimiento a sus "fans": "Quiero agradecerles por demostrar de forma tan evidente que soy una gran elección".

"Sus ataques nos hacen ver que algo no funciona en nuestra cultura y tenemos que trabajar juntos para cambiarlo", escribió Schumer, quien añadió los "trolls" cuentan con su simpatía porque "tienen un dolor que nosotros nunca entenderemos".

Barbie, reina del glamur de la industria juguetera y con más de cinco décadas de experiencia, fue creada como el prototipo de mujer perfecta, figura esbelta, sexy y a la vanguardia de la moda, además de ser tratada como una profesional intachable con más de 150 carreras estudiadas en sus diferentes versiones.
