El video inédito de Freddie Mercury que estalló las redes sociales

La mítica banda de "Queen" vuelve a ser tendencia en las redes sociales tras la filtración de un video inédito en el que se ve a Freddie Mercury y sus compañeros durante la celebración tras el lanzamiento de "One Vision", el hit que perteneció al disco "A Kind of Magic".

La cuenta de Instagram @freddie_mrcry publicó la grabación y comentó que la canción surgió luego de que la banda se presentar en el "Live Aid" en 1985, uno de los conciertos que contó con las presencia de millones de fanáticos y que recaudó fondos para luchar contra el hambre en África.

Just look at how adorable they are ❤️ ⁣ ⁣ 💿 Queen was inspired to write this by their Live Aid appearance in 1985 - millions of people sharing one vision of a better world. When the band was approached to perform at Live Aid, they were in a rut and reticent to appear. But after their show-stopping performance, they re-entered the studio with renewed energy. They were back in Munich (a place they had previously hit trouble during the Hot Space sessions), but this time spent a lot of time working in the studio, not being distracted by drugs or other distractions - unlike the earlier sessions.⁣ ⁣ 🎙 All four band members helped writing this. Most Queen songs were written separately, mostly out of a desire to keep writing credits to themselves - Brian May has often hinted in interviews that he was quite possessive of his own songs. But this also made sure their songs didn't all sound alike. The idea of writing a song together came from Freddie. He rang the other three members and asked them to come to the studio, where the writing and recording sessions were taped 🎶

El exitoso tema formó parte de la banda sonora de la película "Iron Eagle" en 1986.

El video llega a pocos días de que Brian May, integrante de "Queen", fuese reconocido como el mejor guitarrista en la historia del rock por la revista británica "Total Guitar".

"Estoy absolutamente sin palabras. Estoy alucinando, es completamente inesperado. Obviamente, me emociona profundamente que la gente piense en mí de esta manera", manifestó el guitarrista británico a esa revista.
